NucleAI is an open-access collaboration and publishing initiative dedicated to advancing Nuclear Science & Technology through technology, innovation, and interdisciplinary knowledge exchange. This page outlines the thematic scope of the initiative, the types of contributions it may publish, the submission process, and the review and editorial model adopted by NucleAI.
1. Publishing Scope
NucleAI welcomes contributions related to Nuclear Science & Technology and to the broader technological and innovation challenges that support its advancement. Submissions may address scientific, technical, strategic, or interdisciplinary themes, provided they are consistent with the initiative’s mission and editorial orientation.
2. Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, Nuclear Science & Technology, artificial intelligence, scientific visualization, data-driven methods, digital transformation, emerging technologies, applied research, and broader interdisciplinary discussions connecting science, technology, and society. NucleAI particularly values contributions that promote technical dissemination, critical reflection, and accessible knowledge exchange across disciplinary and institutional boundaries.
3. Types of Contributions
NucleAI may consider for publication white papers, articles, technical notes, opinion pieces, and other digital materials deemed relevant to its scope.
Contributions should be clearly written, well organized, and appropriate for an interdisciplinary readership, while maintaining suitable academic and technical rigor.
4. Open-Access Model
All publications are intended to be made openly accessible online in order to support the broad dissemination of knowledge, encourage intellectual exchange, and expand access to scientifically and technically informed contributions.
5. Submission Procedure
Authors interested in submitting a contribution should prepare their manuscript using the designated submission template and, whenever possible, follow the template guidelines provided therein. The completed document should then be sent by email for editorial consideration. The submission procedure is intended to be straightforward and accessible.

6. Initial Editorial Screening
Upon receipt, submissions are subject to an initial editorial screening in order to assess their relevance to NucleAI’s scope, their general suitability for publication, and their compliance with basic formatting and presentation requirements. Submissions may be returned to authors for adjustment prior to further consideration.
7. Scientific Board Review
Submissions that pass initial editorial screening may proceed to review by NucleAI’s Scientific Board. This review is intended to evaluate the relevance, clarity, coherence, and alignment of the submission with the initiative’s editorial standards and objectives. Authors may be invited to revise their manuscripts in response to comments or recommendations arising from this process.
8. Nature of Review
NucleAI publications are reviewed by the initiative’s Scientific Board. This review process constitutes an internal academic and editorial assessment intended to support quality, consistency, and intellectual relevance. NucleAI publications are board-reviewed, but they are not peer-reviewed academic journal publications.
9. Authorship, Citation, and Responsibility
Authors are responsible for the originality of their submissions, the accuracy of the statements and references they contain, and the proper attribution of all sources used. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a substantive intellectual contribution to the work.
10. Revisions and Updates
Published materials may be revised, corrected, or updated whenever considered necessary or appropriate. Where relevant, revised versions may replace or supplement earlier versions in order to preserve the clarity, accuracy, and integrity of the published record.
11. Institutional Disclaimer
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the views expressed in signed contributions are those of their respective authors and should not be understood as necessarily representing the views of NucleAI, GVCM, IPEN, CNEN, or any affiliated institution.
